Location

Located on the Lower Zambezi River, 25 kms from Chirundu, 12 kms from the Micheal Chilufya Sata Bridge on the Kafue. Easily accessed via 3 hour road transfer from Lusaka.

Inclusive : Angling, Walking safaris, Canoeing safaris, Boating, Village walks, Banana Plantation tours, Sunset cruises and Full Day Game Drives. Full Day Game Drives* into the park are inclusive for a minimum 3 night stay.

*Full Day Drives start with a 2.5 hour boat transfer to the Park Entry followed by a full day game drive in the park including a picnic lunch and then boat back to camp late afternoon.

One Family Unit and all other chalets can be fitted with an extra bed or bunk beds.

The lodge is a member of Conservation Lower Zambezi

Kanyemba has their own on site Preschool for community children in the area (up to 60 daily). There are 3 teachers, a daily feeding program, ablutions, games and learning

In addition the lodge supports Mafungautsi School and has provided a water pump, tank and water reticulation system throughout the school and Teachers quarters. The lodge has funded 55 Zedupads, 120 new desks, electricity and lighting in all classrooms.

Power Source is mains electricity with a Generator for Back up and Solar hot water
