A model of luxury, Kayila Camp is a 4 suites camp that combines tradition with comfort. Situated on a ridge on the banks of the Zambezi in the Kayila Private Game Management Area, Kayila offers sweeping views of the Mana Pools National Park. The camp has a beautiful outdoor lounge area that overlooks the deck and swimming pool, providing an excellent vantage point to experience the magic of the Zambezi River.

Location

Kayila is located on the vast 8,700-acre Kayila Private Game Reserve within the Lower Zambezi Conservation area. Accessed via charter or scheduled flights into Kayila Airstrip which is a short drive to camp or into Royal Airstrip.

Information

The 4 luxury suites are built using sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly materials. The floors and walls are made of mortar, while the roof is thatched which offers a natural cooling effect. Room are connected by raised walkways. Room features include:

Activities at Kayila include: Game Drives (Game Drives can be done in the private reserve where Kayila is located or guests can plan for a full day excursion into the park), Walking , Boat Cruises and Fishing.

Children aged 12 years and older are welcome. If you have booked the camp exclusively younger children are welcome. 
There are no Family Rooms but rooms spacious enough for children to share with parents

 

1st May - 15th November 

In recent months Anabezi has set up a Community Based Food Programme and raised funds to donate food and mealie meal to the Mugurameno community. The company also supports Mugurameno School with various projects including the building of Teacher accommodation.

Conservation Projects supported include Anti – Poaching in the Chiawa GMA with the funding of a 6 man anti- poaching team to protect parts of the Chiawa GMA and the purchasing of supplementary food for the wildlife.
